Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to coach and train inventory clerks, oversee cycle counts, and support continuous improvement in warehouse operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and Lean principles within a busy distribution environment.

The position requires leadership experience, forklift operation, and strong attention to detail as part of a broader effort to optimize inventory processes and support site goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• 2–4 years of inventory/warehouse operations experience and 6 months of related leadership or supervisory experience.
• Warehouse Inventory Management System knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a forklift operator license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Support Supervisor in directing inventory staff in completing work.
• Contribute to root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and implement improvements.
• Safely operate equipment to move products and store materials.
• Review and analyze daily inventory reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
