Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an experienced Inventory Control professional for Fontana, CA. The role focuses on replenishment planning, accuracy of records, and daily analysis to resolve inventory issues. You will develop procedures and lead an inventory team to ensure optimal stock levels and reliable operations.

The position emphasizes hands-on supervision, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration with production, sales, and logistics partners to support reliable delivery for top brands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training
• PC literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret business documents and regulations
• Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public
• Ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory replenishment based on production schedules, current inventory, customer orders, and forecasts
• Ensures accurate and current inventory records
• Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems
• Develops and implements inventory control procedures
• Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts; trains and manages an inventory team
• Directly supervises employees in Inventory Control including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing work, performance appraisals
