GEODIS provides global logistics solutions and seeks an Inventory Manager in Fontana, CA to oversee replenishment, maintain precise stock records, and analyze daily inventory variances. You will align production schedules, forecasts, and customer orders to keep stock levels calibrated and efficient.

The role requires 4+ years of inventory experience, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to train and lead a team while implementing robust control procedures and routine reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent experience
• PC literate with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to read/digest business documents and regs
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to present information to managers and customers
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
• Ability to apply common sense to written and oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory replenishment based on production schedules, current inventory, customer orders, and forecasts
• Ensures accurate and current inventory records
• Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems
• Develops and implements inventory control procedures
• Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts; trains and manages an inventory team
• Directly supervises employees in Inventory Control including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, and performance management
