Job summary

GEODIS, a global logistics provider, is hiring for a warehouse operations role in Riverside, CA. The position involves tracking hours, directing a warehouse team, coordinating shipping and labor for rework, unloading inbound freight, and preparing products for shipment.

You will also perform picking, operate equipment, train staff, and participate in inventories. Qualifications include 2 years of related experience, warehouse equipment knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent
• Experience with warehouse equipment
• Ability to read simple instructions, short memos, and reports
• Ability to write simple reports and correspondence

Responsibilities

• Track employee hours for accounts and provide feedback
• Direct a team of employees for one or more warehouse accounts
• Coordinate shipping schedules and labor requirements for rework and cycle counts
• Unload and move inbound freight safely and efficiently
• Prepare products for shipment with exact quantities
• Perform picking duties meeting customer and company standards
• Operate equipment safely following procedures
• Assist in training Operators and supervising activities
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly equipment and workspace
• Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation
