Price Industries Inc. is on the search for an Inventory Control Coordinator for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Lawrenceville, GA. As a key member of our operations team, the Inventory Control Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting production efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding our standards of excellence. You are responsible for monitoring, auditing, and reconciling inventory across all storage and production areas. This role ensures accurate material flow to support manufacturing schedules, minimize waste, and maintain real-time visibility into raw material, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods levels. Working in close partnership with the production, logistics, and procurement teams, the coordinator helps maintain smooth operations and drives continuous improvement in inventory management processes.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits in alignment with corporate procedures.
Investigate inventory discrepancies, report root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records in the ERP system (IFS or equivalent), ensuring data integrity for all inventory transactions.
Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across production lines and warehouse zones.
Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams to validate inbound and outbound inventory movements.
Monitor and report on slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory; support reallocation or disposal actions.
Assist in preparing for physical inventory events, including annual or quarterly counts.
Support lean manufacturing and 5S principles by maintaining organized, clearly labeled, and efficient inventory areas.
Provide training and guidance to warehouse and production personnel on inventory handling procedures.
Collaborate with production planners and materials team to optimize inventory levels and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials coordination.
Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with IFS is a strong asset) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
Ability to work in a manufacturing setting, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Experience in HVAC manufacturing or a similar high-mix, high-volume production environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Working Conditions
Combination of warehouse and office environment with frequent movement between areas.
May require flexible hours, including early mornings or extended shifts during inventory periods.
