Job Details

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing materials and supplies to designated areas. They maintain awareness of all equipment in use and available to best serve the needs of the patient and department.

Job Description

Per Diem (16 hours minimum/per week), including holidays & weekends, with rotating shifts:

• 5:30 am - 2 pm
• 2 pm - 10:30 pm
• 10:30 am - 7 pm
• 10 pm - 6:30 am

Essential Functions

• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff consistent with Jefferson's values.
• Manage requisitions, shelves, and distribute medical and linen supplies to patient care areas from various storage locations. (30%)
• Utilize PeopleSoft Mobile Supply Chain for receiving, cycle counts, inventory control, and replenishment; communicate professionally with customers. (30%)
• Ensure supply/linen rooms and carts meet established quotas; maintain cleanliness and check expiration dates. (20%)
• Maintain files such as delivery documents, property tags, and returned goods logs. (15%)
• Safeguard patient information, ensure privacy per HIPAA, and communicate tactfully. (5%)
• Use material handling devices as needed.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, walk-ins, and deliver supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior inventory experience preferred but not required.

Work Shift

Day shift in the United States.
