Job Details

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing materials and supplies to designated areas. They maintain awareness of all equipment in use and available to best serve the needs of the patient and department.

Job Description

Per Diem (16 hours minimum per week)

Holidays & weekends included

Rotating shifts:

  • 5:30 am - 2 pm
  • 2 pm - 10:30 pm
  • 10:30 am - 7 pm
  • 10 pm - 6:30 am

Essential Functions

  • Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff consistent with Jefferson's values.
  • Manage requisitions, shelves, and distribute medical and linen supplies to patient care areas from storerooms and distribution areas. (30%)
  • Utilize PeopleSoft Mobile Supply Chain for receiving, cycle counts, inventory control, par level, replenishment, and communicate professionally with customers. (30%)
  • Ensure supply/linen rooms, par level carts, and exchange carts meet established quotas both qualitatively and quantitatively. Maintain and restock supply/linen areas, storeroom, and bulk room, ensuring cleanliness and checking expiration dates. (20%)
  • Maintain files such as delivery documents, property tag logs, and returned goods logs. (15%)
  • Safeguard patient information and ensure privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate tactfully with patients, families, visitors, and staff. Adapt to fluctuating situations professionally. (5%)
  • May operate material handling devices such as pallet jacks and furniture movers.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls, beepers, walk-ins, loading dock requests, and deliver supplies timely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

AND

Prior inventory experience preferred but not required.
