Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, receiving, reconciliation, and compliance within our store operations. You will work with the Store Operations Manager to ensure efficient processes and exceptional customer service in a retail environment.

The role emphasizes forklift operation, BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation, and adherence to safety and store policies while supporting daily distribution center functions.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA and engage customers to uncover needs and recommend solutions.
• Operate forklift, propane inspections, and handle warehouse/receiving tasks.
• Process shipments, BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation, and inventory adjustments as directed.
