Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and verify merchandise on arrival. You will scan, account for, and bring items to the floor while addressing under or over ordering and stock issues.

You will walk the store daily, communicate with store leadership and crew, monitor donations and inventories, and maintain backroom security and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of the backroom.
• Attention to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise.
• Basic computer knowledge, including email, Excel, and store portal.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and work independently.
• Ability to interact with vendors, delivery drivers, customers, co-workers, and management.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 5-50 lbs, push/pull 10-50 lbs, and stand/walk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all DSD operations and ensure delivered merchandise is checked and accounted for.
• Walk the store daily to identify under/over ordering and out-of-stock conditions.
• Communicate with Store Director, night crew, merchandisers, and file maintenance clerk.
• Monitor weekly ads, DSD displays, and donations.
• Maintain backroom security, cleanliness, and organization; ensure equipment works.
