Daily store walks will identify stock issues, while collaborating with order writers, night crew, and merchandisers to maintain inventory integrity. Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail or grocery environments.
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness, security, and order in the backroom and receiving areas.
• Problem-solving ability to make independent decisions related to inventory and deliveries.
• Effective communication with vendors, delivery drivers, store management, and fellow associates.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 5–50 lbs., push/pull 10–50 lbs., and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Customer service orientation to uphold a positive inventory and store readiness

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is accurately received, counted, and stocked.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and backroom staff; communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories; maintain a secure, clean backroom.
