Albertsons Companies is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and verify merchandise on arrival. You will scan, account for, and bring items to the floor while addressing under or over ordering and stock issues.

You will walk the store daily, communicate with store leadership and crew, monitor donations and inventories, and maintain backroom security and cleanliness.

• Customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of the backroom.
• Attention to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise.
• Basic computer knowledge, including email, Excel, and store portal.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and work independently.
• Ability to interact with vendors, delivery drivers, customers, co-workers, and management.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 5-50 lbs, push/pull 10-50 lbs, and stand/walk.

A Day in the Life:

As a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC), you will be responsible for overseeing all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensuring that all merchandise delivered to the store is checked, accounted for, and brought out to the floor. You will walk the entire store daily to scan DSD and address areas of under or over ordering and/or out of stock conditions. Your role will involve communicating with the Store Director, order writers, night crew employees, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk. You will be knowledgeable about weekly ads and DSD displays, monitor donations, and be responsible for grocery and non-perishable inventories. Additionally, you will maintain backroom security, cleanliness, and organization, ensuring all equipment works properly.
