Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Addison, TX is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk to manage direct store delivery inventory, verify receipts, and keep accurate stock levels in the backroom.

This role supports store operations by ensuring merchandise is properly received, stored, and ready for shelves. The ICC works closely with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and store management to maintain inventory accuracy and support promotional execution.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools (email, Excel).
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD receiving, stocking, and inventory control.
• Scan DSD items and identify stock discrepancies.
• Maintain organized backroom, ensure security and cleanliness.
• Communicate inventory status with store leadership and vendors.
