Job summary

White Cap Management LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to strengthen our inventory integrity across fast-paced projects. You will participate in daily order processing, perform cycle counts, and help maintain accurate stock records for our leading distribution networks.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems, and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in inventory control or related operations.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory levels and reports.
• Knowledge of internal control procedures and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies; ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; follow up on adjustments and review cycle counts.
• Handle receiving and quality checks for vendor deliveries.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap...

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
