Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in Orlando, FL. You will audit inventory, balance daily order processing, and help maintain accuracy and quality across receiving and cycle counts.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of inventory experience, proficiency with Oracle or similar ERP, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of inventory or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Experience with receiving and quality checks with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory and balance systems during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues and discrepancies; ensure internal controls.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and check for quality; communicate issues.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
