Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Goodyear, AZ to help balance inventory during daily order processing and ensure accuracy across systems. You will participate in cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain quality control and safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience; forklift experience and familiarity with Oracle are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in inventory or related role.
• Experience with warehouse controls and processes is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency a plus (from job ad)

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to balance systems during daily orders.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to previous inventory adjustments.
• Complete and review cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and check quality.
• Communicate quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain inventory control manuals and procedures.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments.
• Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality.
• Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency a plus.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
