Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to join our on-site team in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will audit inventory, resolve discrepancies, and help maintain accuracy across cycles and base tables while following safety policies.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, forklift experience is a plus, and comfortable working with Oracle software. The role emphasizes reliable teamwork and strong attention to detail in a growing company known for its inclusive

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Experience with cycle counts and accuracy audits.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete follow ups on adjustments.
• Receive products from vendors and communicate quality issues.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
