Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Associate in a fast-paced environment. You will audit inventory, balance daily orders, resolve discrepancies, and support safe, accurate processing across the warehouse and office.

The role requires 2–5 years of inventory control experience, forklift know-how, and familiarity with Oracle or Office 365. Benefits include robust health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and generous time off.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments.
• Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality.
• Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction or industrial products.
• Inventory control and replenishment experience.
• Proficient in Office 365 and similar inventory/purchasing systems.
• Detail-oriented with accurate recordkeeping and follow-through.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience working with vendors and branch/operations teams.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
