Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to audit inventory, balance daily orders, and uphold internal controls. You will handle product receipts, verify quality, and support cycle counts across multiple locations. This role offers opportunities in a growing national distributor with strong benefits.

You should have 2–5 years of inventory experience, forklift capability, and familiarity with Oracle or similar sales order software. Knowledge of construction products is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of inventory control experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments.
• Complete and review cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and check for quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality.
• Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
