Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Associate to support daily order processing and maintain accurate stock levels on site in Goodyear, AZ. The role involves auditing inventory, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring quality during receiving from vendors.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in inventory control, experience with forklifts and order-picking equipment, and familiarity with Oracle software. On-site work with strong safety discipline is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of inventory control experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company safety policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Complete and review cycle counts.
• Receives products from vendors and checks for quality; communicates issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency a plus.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
