Inventory Analyst - Warehouse & 3PL Operations

Job summary

Schneider Electric Corp in the United States (Ohio, Fairfield) seeks an Inventory Analyst to manage inventory flows between the warehouse and 3PL partners. You will translate the Master Production Plan into actionable inventory movements and monitor stock at locations 4000 and 4600 to safeguard production continuity.

You will support goods receipts in SAP, reconcile 3PL outbound docs, and drive cycle counts with RCA to improve accuracy. Travel to 3PL sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or materials planning within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review MPP and translate into near-term inventory actions.
• Perform weekly reviews of clear-to-build inventory for the primary warehouse (4000 stock).
• Analyze inventory levels and locations across warehouse (4000) and 3PL (4600) to identify shortages or excess.
• Initiate inventory pulls from the 3PL when warehouse shortages are identified.
• Prepare and send weekly 3PL pull requests.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and 3PL Teams.
• Support warehouse receiving by ensuring inbound 3PL material is processed in SAP with correct goods receipt types.
• Review outbound documentation from the 3PL and reconcile discrepancies.
• Own escalation and resolution of quantity or documentation discrepancies with the 3PL.
• Manage outbound shipments of excess inventory from the warehouse to the 3PL.
• Support cycle count program with RCA for discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Execute and monitor the GR process related to 3PL movements.
• Ensure Inventory Management Checklists are documented in SAP (including 3PL activities).
• Serve as the primary contact for ongoing communication with the 3PL.
• Support monthly audits and inventory reviews with the 3PL to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Travel to the 3PL for cycle counting, audits, and other activities as needed.
