Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the United States (Ohio) to organize and manage warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation, and shipments per SPS principles. You will follow strict procedures, ensure health and safety compliance, and report risks to the Team Leader.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, SAP experience, Excel and barcode skills, English fluency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a warehouse inventory environment; Excel; communication; fast pace; attention to detail; powered industrial trucks incl. Genie lift & PIT; barcode scanning systems; Windows knowledge.
• Prior SAP experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments per SPS principle.
• Apply strict warehouse working instructions and fixed operating procedures.
• Comply with health, safety and environment rules throughout the sector.
• Identify and express to Team Leader any health, safety, quality and environment risks, including reporting incidents and near misses.
• Apply escalation process for deviations (safety, environment, quality, performance).
• Know the recommended gestures to perform standard operating modes; suggest improvements.
• Link operations: receiving, warehousing, inventory management, store outlets, line procurement.
• Perform self-controls to detect non-conformities.
• Operate safely around hazards.
• Apply MPH procedures.
• Use computer resources to save store entries/exits.
