Job summary

Electrolit USA is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Accountant to maintain financial records for U.S. inventory, warehousing, and freight activities in a fast-growing distribution network. You will reconcile 3PL transactions, monitor FEFO valuation, and support month-end close with strong internal controls.

The role requires collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, plus accurate reporting and system enhancements with IT and 3PL partners. Houston on-site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and inventory accounting practices.
• Experience with high-volume inventory environments that rely on 3PLs and FEFO processes.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret cost and volume trends across warehousing and freight.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/inventory management platforms.
• CPA eligibility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile inventory transaction records across U.S. locations and 3PLs.
• Coordinate full physical inventory counts and cycle counts across warehouses and partner facilities.
• Reconcile inventory with accounting records, ensuring strong internal controls.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory at 3PL locations and FEFO-based valuation processes.
• Track and reconcile outbound freight costs, analyzing variances vs. budget.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages on inventory, warehousing expenses, and freight costs.
• Support month-end and year-end close for inventory and logistics accounts.
• Collaborate with IT and operations on system enhancements and 3PL integrations.
