Job summary

Carolina Handling is seeking an Applications Engineer within its Intralogistics Solutions Group to promote solutions internally and externally. You will collaborate with Sales and Operations, coordinating technical activities across departments and vendors to identify and develop all requirements for each project.

You may handle straightforward requirements independently or seek assistance from internal resources to ensure successful project delivery. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-4 years of material handling sales or similar industries preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.
• Proficient in pricing and bill of materials preparation for quoting.

Responsibilities

• Support sales with system specification analysis and coordinated requirements.
• Assist site surveys and complete requirements to build BOMs and quotes.
• Partner with sales to evaluate customer requirements and present value-added products.
• Conduct demos, assist with sales presentations, and train the sales force.
• Review and design solutions, create facility layouts, and prepare BOMs for proposals.
• Coordinate with departments and vendor personnel on technical questions and timelines.
