Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures across diverse patient populations. Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
• BLS Certified
• Advanced ARRT certification VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies and related biopsies.
• Completes post-processing and patient care functions; follows established protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Demonstrates competence in interventional radiology procedures on patients of all ages; positions patient and selects appropriate protocol.
• Maintains competencies for all related components; adheres to imaging protocols for the exam.
• Provides radiation safety and dose-reduction practices; follows prescribed safety standards.
• Provides patient education and communicates in line with guidelines.
