Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with interventional radiology expertise to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse patient populations. You will ensure adherence to imaging protocols, provide high-quality patient care, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires AMA/JRCERT credentialed radiologic technologists, BLS certification, and a commitment to radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Interventional radiology experience not explicitly required; certification preferred.
• BLS certification required by law. ARRT VI/CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies; modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions; maintains patient care records.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols and delivers age-appropriate care.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety policies and dose reduction principles.
• Provides patient education and communication according to standards.
