Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BLS certified.
• Advanced ARRT certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing, record keeping, and patient care per established protocols.
• Adheres to age-specific imaging protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and dose reduction programs.
• Provides patient education and clear communications.
