Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional radiology. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, position patients, select protocols, and follow imaging safety standards to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-registered, BLS certified, with AMA/JRCERT education and the ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification.
• Advanced ARRT VI or CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing, records, and adheres to imaging protocols for different age groups.
• Position patients, select protocols, and operate imaging equipment with assessment of quality and safety.
• Provide patient education and ensure radiation safety and dose reduction practices.
