Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in Interventional Radiology. The role involves performing angiography, venography, and related procedures with emphasis on age-appropriate patient care and strict protocol adherence.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT-registered, AMA/JRCERT-educated, and BLS certified, with ARRT VI or CI preferred. This on-site position offers a collaborative radiology team environment and opportunities for advanced practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification.
• Advance ARRT certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing functions and patient care documentation.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols and ensures age-appropriate patient care.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety Policies and dose reduction practices.
• Provides patient education and clear communications to patients.
