Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
• BLS Certified.
• Advance ARRT certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional radiology procedures across age groups using appropriate protocols and equipment.
• Positions patient and selects correct protocol; adheres to imaging guidelines.
• Maintains competencies for related imaging components.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety Policies and dose reduction principles.
• Provides patient education and communicates clearly with patients.
• Completes post-processing functions and related record keeping.
