Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across a broad patient age range. You will ensure imaging quality, safety, and patient care throughout the radiology process.

The role requires ARRT certification and completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program; BLS is also required. This position is based in Georgia with opportunities for professional growth within Piedmont's radiology

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
ARRT registration and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
Completes all post processing functions and related record keeping; follows established protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Maintains competence for all related components and adheres to imaging protocols for exams performed.
Provides quality age-specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
Adheres to Radiation Safety Policies and the dose reduction program.
Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
Must be competent to position, select the correct protocol and utilize imaging equipment for radiological exams across all age groups.
