Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification required by law.
• Advanced ARRT certification by VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing, record-keeping and patient care functions per established protocols.
• Adheres to age-specific imaging protocols and radiation safety policies.
• Provides patient education and communicates effectively with patients of all ages.
• Positioning and protocol selection for radiological exams across all age groups.
