Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. in New Haven, CT seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional radiology to join our imaging team.

You will perform angiography and related procedures, producing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation while ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow. Requirements include AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education with an AS degree (BS preferred), ARRT RT(R) certification, Connecticut license and CPR, plus hospital radiology

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program; AS degree required, BS degree preferred.
• RT(R) certification by ARRT; Vascular Interventional credentials preferred.
• Connecticut State License and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs angiography and other imaging procedures.
• Sets up angiographic equipment and verifies physician orders.
• Produces high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Ensures supplies are available and maintains patient safety.
• Maintains patient records using HIS, RIS, and PACS.
• Ensures cases are scheduled and completed in the RIS.
• Maintains a respectful and professional attitude with staff.
• Participates in teaching opportunities and helps train others.
