Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in interventional radiology.
• BLS and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes quality diagnostic images and verifies physician orders.
• Assists/scrubs with radiologist, maintaining universal precautions.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Administers and records isotope dosage per protocol.
• Monitors patient during procedures and ensures radiation protection.
• Orders supplies and stocks inventory daily.
• Charts patient accounts accurately.
• Schedules interventional procedures.
• Checks radiographic quality and film identification.
• Fulfills CME responsibilities before dictation.
• Performs compliance duties and other tasks as assigned.
