Job summary

Yale New Haven Health's Interventional Radiology department is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide range of IR imaging procedures and ensure high-quality patient care. You will operate complex imaging equipment, assist in procedures, and support accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved radiologic technology degree, ARRT RT(R) certification, CT angiography exposure, and CT/IR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program; AS degree required.
• Connecticut state license and CPR certification.
• RT(R) certification by ARRT; VI credentials preferred.
• 1+ year hospital radiology experience; O.R./invasive procedures desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up angiographic equipment and verify accession numbers before exams.
• Produce high quality IR images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Ensure supplies are available and maintain patient safety during exams.
• Document procedures and ensure cases are properly scheduled in RIS/PACS.
• Provide compassionate patient care and maintain professional interactions with staff.
