Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support procedures in the Heart & Vascular Institute. This role includes working under supervision, assisting physicians in invasive cardiology/radiology studies, and ensuring patient safety and care.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and requires ARRT radiography registration, IEMA licensure, and ACLS within 1 year. Strong communication and dexterity are essential to manage sterile fields and complex procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Field of Study: Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT registration in Radiography; IEMA licensure; ACLS within 1 year (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician's request and responds to reactions.
• All functions under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Checks patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment position.
• Compiles pertinent clinical information (labs, pathology).
• Assists in instruction of new staff and documents procedures accurately.
