Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field and formal radiologic technology education.
• Active ARRT registration and state licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire is required.
• Demonstrates compassion, accuracy, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician request and monitors for allergies.
• Supervises under the direction of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies management.
• Verifies patient identity, chart information, and treatment position.
• Gathers and documents pertinent clinical data.
• Instructs new staff and documents procedures per policy.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist duties as assigned.
• Works on-call or variable shifts as needed.
• Supports cardiac/cath lab procedures and sterile technique as applicable.
