Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Licensure as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and state licensure where applicable.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as requested by physician and responds to hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.
• All functions performed under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies management.
• Verifies patient identity, chart, diagnosis, and treatment position.
• Documents clinical information accurately per policies and procedures.
• Interacts with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist duties and on-call/variable shifts as needed.
• Maintains sterile field and assists with procedures in the Cath Lab as required.
