Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York seeks an Interventional Pulmonologist to join its Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The role includes outpatient and inpatient duties, ICU care, and involvement with the fellowship training program.

The ideal candidate will have an Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship and AABIP board certification or eligibility, with experience in EBUS, navigational and robotic bronchoscopy, and airway stenting. Collaborative, academic environment offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology with AABIP board certification or eligibility
• Experience with EBUS and advanced bronchoscopy procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with complex pulmonary and airway disorders.
• Perform advanced bronchoscopy including EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, robotic and rigid bronchoscopy, and airway stenting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology and radiology.
• Educate and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and advanced practice providers.
