Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking an Interventional Pulmonologist to join its growing faculty. The role spans outpatient care, inpatient consults, ICU duties, and a fellowship training program.

The candidate should be trained in interventional pulmonary procedures such as EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking, and central airway management, with a strong interest in education, research, and quality

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship trained.
• AABIP board certified or eligible.
• Academic medical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for complex pulmonary and airway disorders.
• Perform advanced bronchoscopy including EBUS, navigational and robotic techniques.
• Manage central airway obstruction and pleural disease as appropriate.
• Educate and mentor residents, fellows, medical students and APPs.
