Job summary
Albany Medical Center/Albany Medical College is seeking an Interventional Pulmonologist to join the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The role involves outpatient and inpatient care, and participation in a comprehensive fellowship program.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required.
- Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship trained and ABIP board certified or eligible.
- Experience with procedures: EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking/ablation.
- Academic medical center environment experience desired (education, research, quality improvement).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with complex pulmonary and airway disorders.
- Perform advanced bronchoscopy procedures: EBUS, navigational, robotic, rigid bronchoscopy, airway stenting, tumor debulking/ablation.
- Manage pleural disease including thoracentesis and chest tube placement as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology, radiology, and pathology.
- Educate and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and advanced practice providers.
