Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Specialized Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist in Springfield to assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and documenting radiation exposure in accordance with regulations.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and experience in vascular imaging. The team focuses on cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial and venous studies, with emphasis on patient safety and procedural accuracy.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• State licensure preferred (where required)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment per protocol.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the procedure to minimize anxiety.
• Document findings in the EMR and communicate with referring clinicians as needed.
