Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Cath Lab. You will support Licensed Practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and documenting radiation exposure per regulations.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and knowledge of vascular exam protocols, with a focus on patient safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT or CCI is required.
• BLS Basic Life Support is required; ACLS preferred.
• Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (preferred).
• State licensure preferred unless required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality diagnostic vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic tests.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and obtain cooperation.
• Review patient information in the EMR and document findings.
• Adhere to safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vascular anatomy and exam procedures.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient care.
