Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures. You will prepare patients, perform vascular imaging, and document findings in the EMR while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and experience in a hospital vascular lab environment. This is a full-time on-site position with Mercy Health’s Cath Lab department.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required
• BLS certification required (preferred at hire, must obtain prior to direct patient care)
• ACLS (preferred)
• CV-Interventional Radiography ARRT (preferred)
• Vascular-Interventional Radiology ARRT (preferred)
• State licensure preferred unless required by state

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic vascular lab examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing
• Prepares patients and explains procedures to obtain cooperation
• Reviews patient information in the EMR and documents findings
• Maintains patient safety and infection control standards
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy and exam interpretation in relation to hospital procedures
