CLEVELAND ARTS & SOCIAL SCIENCES ACADEMY in Cleveland, OH seeks an Intervention Specialist to support students with IEP goals and behavioral targets within an inclusive setting. You will collaborate with teachers to implement interventions and monitor progress, while communicating with families and participating in school events.

The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, culturally responsive practices, and a commitment to student achievement within ACCEL Schools’ public charter network.

Formación

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full room inclusion or co-teaching models.
• Growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Outlook.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Work cooperatively with teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities, modify curricula, and assist students with regular class assignments.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction and functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans and IEP goals/objectives.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and communicate progress to families.
• Lead advising for a group of students and participate in non-instructional activities.
