The ideal candidate collaborates with teachers, conducts assessments, and helps implement behavior plans, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience with full room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and modify general education curricula as needed.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write behavior plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals.
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
