ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an Intervention Specialist for Broadway Academy at Willow in Cleveland, OH to support students with IEP goals and behavioral plans. The role emphasizes inclusive instruction, collaboration with teachers, and data-driven planning.

The position requires experience with IEP processes, strong communication, and the ability to engage families while advancing student achievement within a supportive school culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in a full room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks (FBI/BCI).
• Experience in a multi-cultural setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and modify curricula as needed.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives.
• Strive to meet goals related to student achievement and culture.
• Apply research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Incorporate culturally responsive teaching into daily lessons and interactions.
• Serve as advisor for a designated group of students.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Support planning of non-instructional activities like social events and field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
