Prime Healthcare in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry RN for the Day Shift. The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks and pays $60.00 per hour (flat rate).

The RN will provide direct patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, educating patients and families, and communicating changes in patient condition to physicians.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current (preferred).
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Communicate changes in the patient’s clinical condition with the physician including monitoring results and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment.

Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location: Olympia Fields, ILDepartment: Medical SurgicalStatus: Temporary Internal RegistryShift: Day Shift, Per DiemCompensation: $60.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

Assignment Details:

The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks; however, staffing needs will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Olympia Fields Hospitaloffers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $60.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
