Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry RN for day shift. The 12-week assignment offers a flat rate compensation of $60.00 per hour and requires RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS per hire.

Strong acute care experience and ventilator management are preferred. The RN will deliver direct patient care, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to maintain high standards of nursing care.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.

Overview

Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location: Olympia Fields, ILDepartment: Medical SurgicalStatus: Temporary Internal RegistryShift: Day ShiftCompensation: $60.00 per hour (Flat Rate)

Assignment Details:

The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks; however, staffing needs will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Olympia Fields Hospitaloffers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $60.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
