Salary: up to $70K plus excellent benefits package
ENB are supporting a Illinois based business who are recruiting an Internal Recruiter to join their global HR team and take ownership of the recruitment cycle across the US business.
This is a highly hands on position, with a particular emphasis on direct sourcing and sales recruitment. Managing vacancies from initial briefing through to offer, working closely with hiring managers while proactively identifying candidates rather than relying solely on applications or external agencies.
The environment is entrepreneurial and lean from a systems perspective, so this role will suit someone who is resourceful, organised and comfortable working autonomously, rather than someone dependent on extensive recruitment technology and highly structured processes.
As the Internal Recruiter, you will take ownership of the recruitment activity in the US, partnering closely with HR, hiring managers and business leaders to identify and secure talent across the organisation.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial vacancy briefing through to accepted offer and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop practical recruitment strategies
- Take a highly proactive approach to candidate sourcing, particularly across sales and commercially focused positions
- Build candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job advertising, referrals, networking, talent communities and direct outreach
- Screen CVs and conduct initial candidate interviews
- Assess the experience, competencies and alignment with the organisation and role
- Coordinate interviews and ensure hiring teams provide timely feedback
- Maintain momentum throughout the recruitment process and delivering a professional candidate experience
- Prepare and extend offers and supporting compensation discussions within agreed parameters
- Build proactive pipelines for both current and anticipated hiring requirements
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records
- Monitoring recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness and candidate experience
- Support compliance with federal, state and local employment requirements
- Identify practical improvements to recruitment processes and sourcing methods
- Recommend new recruitment tools, channels or approaches where they can demonstrably improve results
- Support selected HR and recruitment-related projects as capacity allows
The essential skills are:
- Experience in full cycle corporate recruitment experience (Sales/Head Office functions)
- Strong direct sourcing capability, including identifying passive candidates and developing creative search strategies
- Confidence using telephone outreach, email, LinkedIn and direct approaches to engage prospective candidates
- Experience screening candidates and conducting telephone and virtual interviews
- Ability to manage recruitment from job briefing and sourcing through interview coordination, offer and onboarding
- Experience recruiting across different functions and organisational levels
- Strong hiring manager and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to manage several open positions and competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or Recruiter Lite, ATS platforms and other sourcing tools
- Comfortable operating within a lean environment where some recruitment processes remain manual
- Knowledge of US recruitment practices, employment legislation and behavioural interviewing techniques
- Able to work five days per week from the office
** Experience recruiting within consumer goods, FMCG or a distributor led business would be highly desirable. Relevant exposure to organisations where sales and field based commercial recruitment forms a significant part of the hiring requirement would be advantageous.**
