Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages is seeking a Sr. Communications Specialist to develop and execute proactive internal communications.

You will create content for intranets, internal TV, and town halls, ensuring messaging aligns with corporate strategy and brand guidelines. The role requires coordinating with multiple functions, leading teams, overseeing agencies, and driving engagement across internal audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience in a management or team leadership role.
• Understands business and develops communications plans that drive outcomes.
• Knows what journalists need for balanced coverage.
• Experience creating digital engagement strategies.
• Oversight experience with partner agencies and creative teams.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• 25-30% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop local content (images/copy/video) for internal channels in line with CCSWB corporate and brand communications strategies.
• Execute communications strategies to drive engagement and internal business results.
• Coordinate with CCSWB PACS team, HR business partner and other functions to ensure consistency of messaging.
• Manage internal communications channels (intranet, internal TV network, mobile), including content development, content calendars and regular posting.
• Work closely with Director of PACS to service all business functions and manage outside agencies.
• Track and monitor performance of internal channels.
• Support development of content for speakers and production aspects of employee townhalls.
• Partner with other functional team members to maintain stewardship of the corporate brand, messaging; ensure consistency across channels.
• Copywriting, editing and quality control for all written, verbal and digital communications to internal stakeholders.

General Purpose

The Sr. Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing proactive, integrated corporate communications programs that successfully reinforces business objectives, vision and strategy for Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages with internal audiences. Primary duties include developing and executing internal communication programs and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop local content (images/copy/video) for internal channels in line with CCSWB corporate and brand communications strategies.
• Execute communications strategies to drive Engagement and internal business results

• Understands what journalists need to do their jobs and how to forge strong media relationships in the interest of securing fair and balanced coverage.
• Experience creating strategies to engage with users, customers, or employees in online communities.
• Experienced in oversight in partner agencies and creative teams.
• Good leadership and communication skills to involve cross functional teams.
• 25-30% travel required
